I just can't understand how any professionalist could damage something from tv archives. I was in Polish TV and I saw their archive tapes from 80s and 70s. It's protected really carefully in huge metal boxes and I think that only 5 kg of TNT could damage it somehow. :D Maybe in Germany it's different, I don't know.

Ehm I don't think so, but I think it's now over 20 years ago when the old Tele5 stopped broadcasting, so it is possible that they got damaged over time, or they are forgotten. Anyway, we are here to listen to Dio, talk about his music and not about Tapes from TV Stations ;)

OMG! WAT?! You really think that when the TV Channel stops broadcasting it's like "omigod! We're out of money, we must burn our studios and all the archives to the ground"? No, it's not! If Tele München Gruppe doesn't have that tapes they someone else does, but I can tell for sure that they are not destroyed unless someone who has the rights for the Dio music demands it.

Sorry for the late answer... I don't think that they exist anymore, because Tele 5 stopped broadcasting in germany in 1992, so they are probably eliminated or something. But hope dies at last.

So...? I can't see the problem here... If the tapes still exist nothing can stop Wendy's label to get them... The question is: Do they really want them? And btw. Niji didn't made ANY of those already released live recordings...
