This private remaster has existed in various forms for nigh on a decade. The album was of course meant to sound, as one of the songs is titled, like a "Sludgefeast"... It was the epitome of LOUD guitars, distorted bass and pummelling drums... But you, know, underneath all that was some of the best pop songs of the eighties alternative scene.
Now, I'm not expecting to get "Rumours"-like sound from this one, but I've long reckoned it's an improvement, certainly over the SST CD I've owned since I was a teen!
