i wonder if lou got the idea of playing so high on the neck from peter hook. he said he started playing high on the neck to cut through the lead guitar coz it was so loud when he was playing with joy division

The most disturbing part of this is playing a club of that size with all those marshall/hiwatt stacks, would make my damn ears bleed. I'd still loved to have been there.

... and BTW, whoever is responsible for the miking/mixing, not compressing the hell out it, and the recording in general (the sonics) is a genius. Excellent work; this rivals some recordings made in studios these days. Besides the talent (in this case Dino Jr; outstanding), capturing the music faithfully is what it’s all about and you guys did it in spades. Thanks again, I feel like I should pay somebody because my views alone make up about 1/3 of your total : ). Cheers my brothers and sisters.

Vacuum tube on J's shirt - I'll never reach that level of coolness. Great band, thanks for the vid.

Great and inspired playing of all three, J could sing better.

I love how Lou's bass playing improves their 90s stuff. They are good songs (especially this one) but they lacked something compared to their first three albums. Videos like this showcase what it was that was missing.

Hanging out listening to the music of my youth with a big smile on my face ..... loved the way J. reveled in playing like a pure rock god.

Probably one of the greatest rock bands ever without a chart topper. No disrespect to The Ramones. Punk pop before the Blinks & The Foos.
