your confusion is understandable. on 1993's Where You Been, track 4, the song "On the Way" is very similar to this & precedes "Not the Same" which is extremely similar to the song that follows this one, "Alone". In fact I myself came here thinking that this song was from Where You Been & mixing up "Alone" with "Not the Same".
