Dimmu Borgir - Grotesquery conceiled (Live at Norwegian 'Grammy' 1999) video free download

I'm aware that this clip already exists on YouTube, but in such bad quality that one can barely see what's happening. Here's the clip from my personal archive. The performance is from the Norwegian music award show "Spellemannsprisen", which is the Norwegian equivalent to the "Grammy"-show in the USA. I recorded this on VHS in 1999, as I was watching the show on Norwegian TV. This may be the best performance I have seen of Dimmu Borgir ever, apart from Astennu's guitar not being perfectly tuned.

On this same night, Nagash/Lex Icon (Covenant) made a fool of himself, while accepting the "Best metal album" award for Covenant. But that's another story...

I'll never forget the first time I heard Indoctrination fade in to The Maelstrom Mephisto, simply incredible.

Dimmu Borgir is sensational. Even then sent already super well on stage. A pity that here in Brazil a job like theirs is treated as a joke, because the vast majority are super ignorant and only like artists and pop that shit that come around.

Også husker jeg det kom en Wenche Myhre parodi ut for å "roe ned" publikum. Ble litt flau over det.

This is my favorite Dimmu Borgir song, it has the atmosphere that somehow is long gone from their songs.
