It's taken me a while to get into dnb mostly cuz it's not like most genres where u got the popular stuff to get u into it first and classic, well known albums. i mean, the only think ik of that fits that description is Timeless, which i bought first. slowly finding out about all the sick ass dnb like Photek and Dillinja! fuck yeah

He released some utter wank on his own label not too long ago. Sad to see.

Remember Grooverider dropping this at World Dance, Wembley NYE 96/97 in a dark as fuck set before the new year. Proper nasty tune amongst his other classics released back in the day i.e. Viscous, Acid Trax, Armour D, Hard Noise and heaps of others. WTF happened to Dillinja? Haven't heard or seen anything of his for a while!

It depends witch kind of dubstep you're talking about, things coming out from both label Deep Medi Musik and DMZ records are actually pretty good

It also came from 2 step garage, at the moment I listen to dnb more but I don't think dubstep is bad. It doesn't always need overpowered wubs, I've heard dubstep which isn't defined by its wubs. Imo, I don't think you can really dislike a whole genre as most genres are too diverse soundwise.

One in the Jungle - 97. That shit made me get through my teen years. I still sit here today and having spent years finding this tune, I reminisce. Big up Doc Scott / SS / Dilly / Lemon D and all of those. You made my childhood and made me a man.

i agree...dubstep spawned out of dnb not the other way around...and besides dnb has so many more flavors than dubstep...dubsteps overgrown basslines and lack of high end make for a rather bland and muddy music...kinda sounds like a dnb producer got too whacked out of his ead then tried to hit the studio....
