I don't dig it, its not the same as using actual drop tuning...

Hey Fluff! Got a quick question. I saw this demo and thought this pedal was pretty sick. So I looked up other demo and reviews on it. I've read good reviews, but couldn't find any good demos. I'm assuming that's because Most of the demos I found the guitarist didn't seem to have a good time, which leads to my question. Will this tone affect your tone drastically or not? This might seem like a stupid question, but I'm kinda ignorant on pedals and not much of a gear head.

so no company can build a drop tune pedal that doesnt effect tone, when you went to C, 2 whole steps down, the tone changed dramatically and you didnt even comment on it. Morpheus pedals blow and so does this digitech. I'll stick to carrying 3 guitars on stage. Too bad, was actually excited about this pedal at first.

So is this pedal a better version of the down tuning from the Whammy DT or is it just the down tuning part isolated?

So seems like this is the same effects that are in the Whammy DT? Am I right? I'm having the opportunity to buy an used DT by the price of a brand new The Drop, but if it's the same of course I'll be going to the DT.

Hey Fluff!Just wondering man, did you have it tuned in E standard to begin with or were you in C sharp?

This is one of the best demos of the pedal. Normal playing is very tight. As soon as the pedal is kicked on the latency is clearly clearly noticable. Each addition drop gets even more delayed and the tightness of timing is lost.

Not only does it drop your tuning but it also makes your guitar picks drop from your headstock! 1:08

Drop G# has always been one of my favorite tunings. My 7 string is tuned drop G# and i use the pitch shifter on my Mustang 3 to downtune. This pedal looks good for anyone who doesn't have a built in pitch shifter.

Why isn't this midi capable!?!?! Perfect solution if you blow your cash on quality gear with limited guitars. Also, midi would be great for a cover band that has a DEEP catalog. This thing rocks for guys like me who love low tunings and have always loved the tightness of fat strings but have to scale down due to CT or other nerve issues. Mike Einziger from Incubus might want to have a look at this, given his CT issues. Much love Fluff! Keep up the good work!TIMPS.... Thanks for bringing back FAQ Mondays. It really brightens my day.8D

Finally......a drop pedal that doesn't kill the tone. I saw this pedal in your 13 guitar demo and thought the tone was good there too...keep up the demos! Great presentation.
