well in my own opinion i believe that its asking someone if they would put away they're own wants and desires to suffer with the one who love/likes/needs them or something along those lines, basically i guess throw away your wants to be with someone and their own misery and suffering to help them through it, thats just my own opinion12 years ago

I thought this 5 years ago when I was in high school and STILL think this song would be perfect in the beginning or ending of a movie, panning across as the main character walks through areas of a rundown city in anticipation of facing his demons or facing the aftermath.
