Ladybug has that essence to where u can't do anything but respect her.. I wouldn't be able to yell loud or cuss around her... She is the definition of a woman period.

@escierda so to decipher what you are saying. It shows your bias. You think they sold out because they stopped doing the swing jazz vibe. They took on deeper issues here, have you not actually listened to the lyrics. The 2nd album sold way less units and was a downgrade to a different label. A sub-label. You have to maybe reiterate what you mean, as it's not really selling out to get deeper into something. Selling out is to turn out a weak product with focus on Money grabbing.

@escierda you're trippin' if you thought Blowout Comb was "sold out". That shit was hard and if anything, that's prolly what knocked them out of commercial success. The first album was the commercial teaser for the real shit they served on Blowout Comb.

Who said Hiphop was no real music? They prove just the contrary... This song is their greatest, no debate about it and Ladybug Mecca kills it all on this track!

This is so great. I listen Blowout Comb a lot for a last couple of months, this is really top classic album. Diverse production, rich arrangements. Lyrics are so complex and clever. So sad that American mainstream scene couldn't cope with such forward-looking music. They are chilled and confident at the say time, they know WHAT to say and HOW to say. Butterfly is da boss (Shabazz Palaces proves it) and Ladybug Mecca is very gorgeous.

@escierda They sold out? To who? Blowout Comb is way LESS commercial than Reachin'. Have you ever even listened to it? It's all about Black Nationalism and jazz in a time when everything was going in the Biggie/Mase/Puffy party direction. I like Reachin', but their lyrical ability and production on Blowout Comb is a thousand times more advanced. You don't know what you're talking about.

@GIMMEADOLLAR1 - To be frank, they sold out on this album. This single is waaaay different than their vibe on Cool Like That.
