I think it's a video about regretting the decision to commit suicide. As when he's taking pictures of all the dead people, his camera is showing the same person in the picture, or he recalls seeing the person at their death site. Just watch the video again. Maybe the lyrics then are inspiration for him to be a better person, after seeing death in so many? Moral of the story: Don't take life for granted!
