Not only for the last 30 years ... There are a few different german translations known, but I'm pretty sure this one is done by "Die Streuner". btw: "Die Streuner" is a proper name.

It's not from the Streuner, as far as I know. The Scouts in Germany sing that song for at least 30 years.

I think it's a very free translation by "Die Streuner", 'cause a word by word translation of the traditional french text would hardly fit on this melody.

An old bawdy 'dirty' song well known in French ^.^ Is it a 'Die Streuner' translation (rather accurate and faithful as far as on-line translators allow to judge), or is the translation itself traditional?
