I think "Die Krupps" is a sort of analogy to Pasolini's Porcile "Herdhitze". There's no use of beating down the enemy just to gain control, just enough to retool it with our purposes. Industrialism never had any ideological views, it's just part of the toolchain. Get a clue. You're not a half part as interesting as developing countries.

My interpretation why "Krupps" was chosen as a band name is, that clearly, Krupps is an icon for hard, honest, manual labor. Music, lyrics and videos express romance and criticism of this German stereotype of precision, punctuality and (blind) loyalty, obedience.

Kinda reminds me of the Halloween theme song in a way.

@NorthernMaggot not that they are nazi's, probably more the opposite. they intend to make people think.

@NorthernMaggot the Krupp factories had such rings in their logo i think. krupp aided the WWII german army.

@NorthernMaggot i think it's mainly thought provocation. like with their song germaniac. they are certainly not nationalists (probably more anti-nazi), but they intend to make people think about what happened during the war.

Love this band, any know how they got there name? i know krupp is a very old family name in Deutschland and has been around for hundreds of years not to mention its steel manufacturing ties.
