I was addicted for a little over a year and sometimes I still struggle, and after finding out what this song is about, it's like I know what she is talking about, in the song I think she is describing what she would say if she were the drug, and that you don't need anything or anyone but her because it makes you feel whole and complete.

Saw this live in Vienna/Schonbrunn Castle, awesome place, summer, 30 degrees, standing in the front row, fantastic atmosphere and incredible performance. This song gave me (and still giving me) goosebumps. The finale is fantastic. I even had a chance to see her test before the show and had a chance to speak to her. And by the way, the band is fantastic, especially the drums.

A team of doctors worked on her rehabilitation and "pain managment" which lead Dido into one of the deadliest addictions one can face ..opiedsShe wrote this song about her addiction and shared it with a friend who initially thought it was a love song for them, the confusion was quickly cleared up which is why Dido continues to clear the confusion with introducing this song with the "intent" it was written..its about her addiction.
