Whenever I want to see REAL talent, I come back to Daryl's house. Diane Birch, Jimmy Wayne, and the great Todd Rundgren, Ceelo Green so many . I love these sessions. THIS is what music is all about. It shows just how talented these artists are. And you add that blue-eyed soul that Daryl brings to the table and you've got a mind blowing treat. Why Daryl and the major television networks don't work something out is so wrong. New talent featured. Old talent admired and loved would make for a great show in prime time. Hey, powers-that-be, try it!!!

The emotional quality in her voice grips my heart. She can sing, she can write, she can play, she's beautiful and she's charismatic. How stardom has eluded her is beyond me. Too bad she didn't come along in the 70's when FM stations introduced the public to the great singer songwriters of that era by playing LP's in their entireity.Better management and a better record label might help.

@wanples ... I've probably listened to this a hundred times and never noticed that! I always heard "play with you bee bee", as in a form of "baby", before. But... sure as heck sounds more like "p" than "b" on close listening. If it is, I'm sure it was unintentional. It would just be too goofy and gauche given the effort that goes into making these top notch performances in just a handful of takes (and sometimes just one).
