I think the reason she always sounds a bit off is because of how frail her normal voice is (when she's not belting.) And the frailty to her voice is part of what makes it so amazing. However, they're playing the music so loud that it's hard for her to be heard unless she really pushes herself. Which comes off flawlessly when she's belting, but not when she's just singing. I think if she was allowed to work with a quiet piano or something, it'd be so much better. Like her audition.13 years ago
