I always did think that lp was underrated. But at the same time I knew as I knew the support for thelp (Just like w/ RTL) would be practically nil At the time I was a segment producer at the time and was very exited about the release as well as her return to Motown So I had a good rapport w/ the label at the time and while they were more than happy to take Prince leftovers like Vanity and Brownmark They made it clear they would give the release only minimal push and they blamed the cover art for it . I often wonder if she had a cover like Marvin Gaye did of just a club scene w/ just plain "Diana Ross Workin Overtime would that have made a diffeerence. I never really heard the material itself attacked

her best lp. this lp was brilliant but i think it flopped.why is this brilliance ignored ?
