What's interesting in this clip is what starts at 4:20 as Ross begins walking to the front of the stage. Houston was not to accompany her at that point - it's obvious. She does, however, and is daring Ross to do something about it as they advance forward, no doubt. Houston tried to take over the inclusion of Ali, and it was a bad misstep on her part. Ross and Ali are very old friends going way way back. This is very entertaining.

Diana Ross and Whitney Houston on the same stage. Awesome. Diana looks magnificent as always. She really can work any style. True elegance. I Can't say enough about Diana Ross. Love love love Miss Ross.

I don’t know why people keep comparing Diana to Whitney, only to try to denigrate Diana. Diana was/is where Whitney was then & actually has exceeded that in many respects for she had the longevity & diverse accomplishments in terms of genre of music, acting, & business savvy. Diana is also twenty plus years older, even though she may not look like it. Whenever these types of functions exist where significant black artists &/or participants are present, these are the times when a certain mentality like to use the opportunity to denigrate Diana. Yet, if she did not partake in many of these functions they would also denigrate her for not partaking.

Just look at the physical appearance and dress of the two. Diana wins hands down! And she is considerably older than Whitney. People have to realize that Whitney lived a "hard life". Doing drugs since early adulthood is tough on the body. Diana preserved herself much better...making her THE SUPREME DIVA!

That is a fantasic question. Based on the specific defintion of the word "diva", Whitney would come in third. Little Richard vs DIANA, it would eventually come down to Diana being a beautiful glamorous woman. Plus DIANA ROSS has been THE DIVA since 1966. NO ONE, including Barbra Streisand can touch Diana's Diva-tude during the 1970 and early 1980s,

She couldn't handle being a star. Not that being a star is easy, cause it isn't. But the baggage required when being a star is impossible for some

It's a shame you care what the hell I say. I don't know Diane, Whitney or you. So shut up and don't tell me what to say on Youtube. You do yourself a disservice by getting offended over a damn celebrity. Good day.

It is a shame you can't keep your classles mouth shut. DianA Ross can hold her own and does not have to step aside for anyone. She is one of the greatest and most unique and talented singers of the 20th century. Whitney Houston was a great talent as well. You do her memory a disservice with your common trash talk.

Just look at all the greats performing on stage TOGETHER. This can never happen again. Not with today's "talent".
