Despite her 'audio' going out.....She didn't sing this nearly as good as the first time from the very beginning....Her voice wasn't on point...maybe because of what Simon said....Fantasia NAILED summertime and there was a lot of pressure on her.....SHe undersang, then she missed that note, then she totally oversang....

What some people don't remember is that her audio feedback "mysteriously" went out. Up to this point, Diana was on a roll. Without your feedback, you can't hear yourself sing, and that's what caused her to go flat in the middle of the song.To her credit, she never blamed her loss on this incident. However, I did get a chance to ask her in a chat once that since she was gaining a lot of momentum up until this performance, if it hadn't happened did she think she would have won.Her answer, "I guess we'll never know." Which told me all I needed to know.
