I didn't know this song came out when I was 3. I thought it was new when Chef Aid came out. Some fan I am. I am a blockhead.

Just amazing that the Band from the future could predict the coming of G.W., president of Amerika. Wonderful musicians, drinking in those drum fills.

Next time I go to Akron - which is fairly ofter - I'll drive by and make sure. It may still be there - albeit not as a punk club.

I'm not being sarcastic--I can die happy now. So the Saloon is now a stadium--Do you know what happened to The Crypt? You guys were practically regulars there... I can't find any information online about it or its fate.

Yeah - it is. Funny thing - I went to an Indians game a couple weeks ago and the new stadium sits smack where the Eagle Street Saloon used to be. Whoever owned it probably made a fortune when they sold the dump to the Jacobs Brothers.

Is this who I think it is? The missing Bob of Devo? as in Lewis?

Eagle Street saloon got closed shortly after this time period. They didn't have a liquor license, so they filled the fridge with beers. Bikers ended one performance with an attempted lynching party, stopped only by the arrival of about 20 of Cleveland PD. Worst dump ever.

I thought I've heard every Devo tune including "I Think I'm Falling in Love Again" - but not this one!! So wonderful to hear this!!! From an old, old lady who has been to 17 concerts of theirs. I quit going to all concerts 3 years ago after P-Nut of 311 deafened me, but it was all worth it.

one of my favorite early Devo numbers - thanks for posting it,as finding the record these days is near-impossible (b.t.w.-turned my teenage daughter on to Devo when she was about 9 & she's been hard-core ever since !)

ENWG: thank you very much for posting an awesome find. All: This is the sound of the Spuds getting ready to hit the big time. A quick timeline? APRIL '77 -- Jerry gets call from LA; come play showcases. Uh-oh, not ready. MAY '77 -- Jerry quickly drives to NYC and sets up gigs at CBGB's & Max's, then returns, puts the Spudboys on a crash diet of gigs, including the new Eagle Street Saloon, a hardcore biker bar NOT noted for weirdos like Devo. NYC would be easier b/c practice makes perfect.

Been a fan of Devo for 7 years now. My CD collection basicly amounts to Devo with few others. I was wanting to listen to the old South park song Chocolate salty balls. Then found Devo with a song i never heard befor on the album. Huboon stomp. And i love it. Granted It seems everysince i was able to remember Devo's music has been around me untill i took note.
