Aww what? This barely sounds like DEVO at all. Hell, this barely sounds like Nine Inch Nails version! God damn, this blows :(

Not trying to troll NIN fanboys. Frankly, because I listen to DEVO far more than NIN, I heard this version first, back in 91/92. So not really caring about originals here, otherwise everyone would like Slade more than "Quiet Riot" (Which I do think Slade is better) anyway back to topic, this version is better for me.

Fuck yes. NIN Devo-fied. I can die happy now. Both are "fans" ( for lack of a better word) of each other. Devo is my favorite band of all time, and they are so good at taking on a cover and completely reinventing it.

Honestly, most covers of this song are better than the original.

@Lucifer Cross:You got proof of that?! Or are you just trying to be another piece of shit troll? I doubt you do. Besides, Trent Reznor is a big fan of Devo. He said himself they had a major influence on him.

A good drum beat is a good drum beat, played on an actual drum kit or not.

Depending on who's side you take Trent says he was the only permanent member Chris said they "he hooked up with Trent Reznor, who was then in the process of recording his debut album, Pretty Hate Machine. This was the beginning of a six-year partnership, during which time Vrenna remained the only permanent member of Reznor’s band." They were in a band together years before that. So that being said the music was awesome and I miss it. The new stuff is new thus I haven't had time to bond w/it yet.

I doubt it - Trent Reznor sites Devo as his biggest influence

Pretty sure he was the only real member of NIN besides Reznor from before Pretty Hate Machine until The Perfect Drug. And that it's not coincidence that his leaving coincided with the quality of NIN's output going straight into the toilet.
