But fuck it, this is *Devin Townsend Project* with "Where We Belong" off *Epicloud*.I don't know what it is about that chorus' chord progression or vocal harmonies, but they're just *perfect*. There's no other way I can describe how they sound to me. They say (they = the wizards) that the brain enjoys music because it flitters between predictable patterns and the unexpected, the unpredictable. This song really is predictable in every sense -- the mind just *relaxes* throughout the whole thing -- but it's just so expertly crafted and *perfect* that it becomes almost a meditative experience. Or, yeah, it's just a really good, borderline sappy rock ballad with a killer singalong chorus. Whatever you want to call it. I love it. #DevinTownsend #Epicloud #Metal #MetalBallad
