There's a remake for oddworld:Abe's oddysee, one of my most favorite ps1 games. A reallyreally good platformer, and they're remaking it (just graphics) for ps4... Awsom

DMC1's story mode was the best IMO, have DMC 4's combat, with DMC 1's story and setting and you've got my money. Then again, I do love DMC1's intense combat also. I'm just plain indifferent. I just like DMC1 individually from the other games. It's so different with it's gothic horror style that is absent in DMC3-now. Where'd it go? Oh yeah that's right, Capcom doesn't believe horror sells. Idiots.

Man I remember the first time I played and beat this game when I was 11 years old and now 10 years later, here I am still listening beast of a soundtrack and playing the HD collection! So nostalgic :)

That is because originally, DMC1 was mean't to be a rather...'spiritual successor' to the first Resident Evil. But of course the project titled 'Devil May Cry' ended up taking a life of its own.

Ha ha ha! That reminds me of this one time I was playing RE4 as a demo in the store and I didn't know what the game was. So when I picked it up, I was like DANTE?! Why isn't his hair white? I had a big face-palm moment when a kid was like "Girl that's Resident Evil 4" I was like ohhh. XD After that demo I did buy RE4 but it's the only game in that series I played. Leon and Dante do kinda look a like.

Actually DMC (at least the original) was a spin-off RE and due to the success of the first title, it became its own series.

I always thought this game had a sort of Resident Evil(the old ones) vibe. I don't know what happened to the later installments of DmC,not that I'm saying they were horrible or anything,but they just weren't the same as this one (in a sense).
