I am from the United States and I agree that the majority of the US pop singers are pretty bland. I mostly listen to European/Eastern European music. Even if I don't understand the language completely I like the mood and feeling the song brings to my soul. Eastern Europe has many incredible artists, which for me is a greatly kept secret. Everyone talks about how great Lady Gaga is, while I am listening to real music from really talented artists that no one in my country knows it even exists.

It's a real shame when a song as good as this doesn't do well internationally because Bulgaria is seen as a backwards country when that is so far from the truth ... Chalga rocks!

Why you can't believe it? In US you are not shown much of the rest of the world. Every country has quality singers. This one is not even the best in Bulgaria. Nothing special. If you hear our folklore, you'll be speechless.

... well quite a few people won't really agree that "american" is English on a first place, you know.. I just played it to my British friends and they understood everything.. plus they loved the song.. and OK she did have bad periods of her life.. but i don't agree that in this video she looks like a prostitute.. its quite a good club tune :))
