Versão original da música que agora todos conhecem por ser dos Queens of the Stone Age.

The Desert Sessions são sessões experimentais de estúdio. Criadas por Josh Homme dos Queens of the Stone Age, estas sessões contam com a participações de vários músicos, a maioria do cenário musical de Palm Desert.

Algumas das músicas desses álbuns foram mais tarde regravadas e incluídas nos álbuns das bandas dos músicos participantes, como é o caso da música I Wanna Make It Wit Chu regravada pela banda de Homme, Queens of the Stone Age.

apparently the reason his voice sounds so raspy is cus he stayed up all night writing playing and smoking then recorded this at like 5am or some shit haha. the man's an artiston an unrelated note i dont even know how anyone (who is familiar with his work) could mistake that voice for anyone elses

he's (homme) got an effect on his voice which makes it sound raspier. lanegan couldn't do that falsetto before the solo nearly as smooth. i can't lie, i love that effect of his vocals. i haven't listened to this version since Era Vulgaris came out and i'm wishing he'd used it again!

This is definitely Lanegan singing. I have followed his music for years, and it is simply unmistakeable.

He's not right, this is 100% Josh. Lanegan didn't even collaborate in Desert Sessions 9&10...

@KIMMEspricht No problem, dude. Just a bit sporadic ;)

@HaNSoNnDaDrummer exactly. as i said, i forgot the song was written and first performed by the desert sessions crew (9&10). i always thought the "clean" version (off vulgaris) was the first release of the song, released on the actual desert session record. my fault.

@KIMMEspricht You do understand though that this is the real, like really real, original that appeared on the Desert Sessions CD, right? Or am I wrong here?
