Are these two just the classiest musicians to come along in a while or what? They're as humble as they are talented. Two artists "lucky enough to make a living" doing what they love and sharing it with all of us.

what a sick society it is when a man this talented and dedicated has to state "we have been fortunate enough to be able to make a living and keep doing it" no Derek I'M FORTUNATE to be able to enjoy you and your wife's amazing music.......

He just broke down today's pop music vs. real music.. Salena Gomez and Nicki Minaj could give two shits about making good music.. Listen to anaconda and tell me "yeah that moved my soul.." You can't do it with 99% of today's PROMOTED music.. Good music you have to search out .. . people like Jason Isbell - he will never be pushed to the forefront by the corporate industry because he can't wear a mini-skirt and twerk..

It's annoying trying to listen to them speak when the background music is just as loud as the person speaking.

I love this band a whole bunch, mmm, , , yeah they have to be the most talented musical married couple by far, I used to dig Derek with the Allmans and his band but kept hoping Susan could be in his band, especially after hearing her sing on "Anyday" with Clapton. I got "Made Up Mind" on vinyl and it truely sounds heavenly, what passion in music, oh yeah the rest of the band, , they're pretty good to!

The point he is making is valid as far as I can see. Rap and Hip Hop are indeed forms of music, but they require very little talent if any. They are kind of like throwing cow shit against a barn wall and proclaiming that as an art masterpiece!

America's Sweethearts, I bet their marriage seems like a dream come true. They seem so happy with each other and make such beautiful music together. Play On and God Bless ya''ll

There are exceptions to every rule. All pop is shit. Almost anything on the radio is shit. Some rap/ hip hop is pretty damn good. (The Roots, Brother Ali (listen to uncle sam godamn). People that have soul cant generally hide it whatever they do. It cant be disposable.

Don't be intimidated by the hundreds of controls. It's actually pretty simple. Learn what one channel does and then it's basically the same for every other, plus a few other different controls. Once you learn the basic principles behind each piece of equipment and what it does, it's all very simple.
