Arguably the best black metal I've heard, besides Carach Angren and Gorgoroth.I've never been a fan of black metal, but I can really appreciate those bands that really stand out amongst the crowd. These are certainly up there!

Not bad, but kind of mediocre and instantly reminded me of Helheim's "Dualitet og ulver". Just a little bit of constructive criticism because, sadly, this doesn't live up to 90's BM at all and for example Totalselfhatred released the song "Enlightenment" in 2008, which is far better so I don't see why MS would suddenly say that this not so engaging and not very original sounding BM song is "reinventing the black metal wheel" (clearly not the biggest fans of black metal there in my opinion). Personally, I think good black metal is and should stay underground and out of publicity (referring to newer Dimmu Borgir, Carach Angren in general etc.), because black metal in itself isn't something for the masses, but those who seek to make something like that via black metal are ones that are most without any feeling and meaning behind them, abandoning an important part of the black metal essence and that's not just my opinion.
