Both versions are excellent, but different too. Music style of course, DM version is darker, and imho, talking about taking off the mask and being oneself, Rammstein cover is obviously talking about sex, some words/verses aren't sung.I understand pro-DM/pro-Rammstein, so many differences, music, era, attitude, everything dissociates them, but to my eyes, these two bands aren't so different, they play good tunes, that's what matters.

People seem to be surprised that this is the original version of the song and that neither Rammstein or Shiny Toy Guns came up with it in the first place. Also, their great song Strangelove has been sampled to a few tracks. The riff featured on The Fast and the Furious, and Infernal have (ab)used it in a song.
