Even if they released many good more main stream songs after this album, this is the pinnacle in their career for me. Excellent album. Excellent production. More industrial. No pop songs. :D

Of course it is, I never denied it. I was talking in reference to the video posted here & how that sound is gone since Violator paved the way for the future of DM. I was reffering to how it was underrated compared to what they do now & are the albums that set the tone & made violator possible. I never said they are better than Violator. They are just not recognized (especially black celeb) as much as the other albums when they are important & good in their own right! (its Martins favorite)

Still, Violator is a great album, I really can't say which album is the best.

I know that's why I mentioned those two albums. I said they are underrated not overrated. They need to be more recognized and only true DM fans appreciate them the most because it is their prime as well as define them to their essence especially Martin as it was he who paved the way for other bands and solidified those albums with his contribution. Alan is great too & I wish he was contributing to the new albums but I can see how he was overshadowed by Martin's contribution.
