It's sad isn't it? This song really touches the emotion to me. It paints a picture of the pain and atrocity that happened in Vietnam in an instrumental way. It makes me feel sympathy, a great deal of sympathy.

Honestly, I have liked DM for quite some time now, but was really only introduced to this song a couple of months ago. Although hard to decide, it is defintely one of my favorite songs of theirs. I'm very much looking forward to seeing them live for the first time this September.

I'll have to agree. Alan Wilder's producing touch is sorely missing. After he left they don't sound like they used to. They still make good music but I'll have to say I don't understand why people raved over "Playing the Angel", which in my mind is uneven and has too much input from their current producer. In my mind Depeche Mode peaked with Black Celebration-Music For the Masses-Violator. Ultra was good (not great).

No disrespect to your country but when was the last time we ever heard any Dutch artists making it big worldwide or even being seen as a great influence? The only music that comes from the Dutch is lots of "Euro House" dance music which everybody forgets after a week. Hate to say this but whenever you look up some Ibiza style radio song it usually comes from the Netherlands. That radio guy has no idea what he is talking about.
