Is it just me or at the time of this recording is Dennis' voice more beautiful than it ever was ? I mean, it was always beautiful but W O W … Today as I write this I think he is 65 years young and living in the UK but the last posts I saw on any of his touring was in 2011, all in Europe. Dr. Hook was phenomenal, albeit often an under rated yet amazing group. There is a DVD out there somewhere of them live … it is a complete debacle, yet there are parts filled with intense moments of musical genius from every member. I must have watched it a dozen times or more - mesmerized by it all. I have long since lost my copy but you can tell it is all falling apart. What they were all on during that recording ( which also took place in Europe ) is debatable. Dennis, on his own - pure genius. Clarity, talent, everything coming from his soul. He once said that music wasn't something that he wanted to do so he could get rich and go do that "other thing", but it was what he wanted to do period. Keep doing it Dennis - This old lady loves you still . You amaze me.
