It does not matter how huge is the traffic between toms/cymbals, it needs to make sense, here, I don't see much thing making any sense, and by the way, chewing gum while performing gives an idea about the attitude, as you guess, I just do not like the feeling, is that anything to do with music? Many fast drummers are shit! To be called a great drummer ones must be able to make people joyous. When I see a street drummer doing crazy fast fills, after about 30 seconds everybody would walk away. Bonham and Keith Moon weren't fast players but their styles were very tasteful! The moral of the story is that don't jump the gun to call a fast drummer great. I would prefer Stewart Copland over Mr. Peart. Because Copland has more taste.

Too many people get wrapped up in "who's the best" that's not what drumming is about. We all agree this wasn't great but I'm not watching this to judge I'm watching this because I love drumming.
