I just finished listening to this song, and now feel nothing but sorrow. This song made me think about my two children who sadly never made it out. Both were twins 1 boy and 1 girl, both taken too early. After a year and some odd months, my then girlfriend and I's relationship crumbled to the ground. This song could not make me cry more than it has.

Today While I was hearing Fiddler on the Green I suddenly realise how the sensation and feeling the tune transmist is so strong, as it is on the song Carry the Blessed Home from Twist in The Myth from Blind Guardian. The main difference is while here the tune, melody, lyrics, music brings us to sorrow maybe, a accidental mistake. and the Carried the Blessed Home makes us feel regret all along the songsurely that knowing that Hansi Kursch is part of Demons & Wizards makes sense.but the similarity in the intentionality of giving that emotional side is so much to notice, maybe the fiddler on the green was an inspiration for the later music from Blind GuardianTwo great songs, by the way
