If there's a god and he's all forgiving and caring I don't think he would send me to hell if I were to die because I doubted his existence. Isn't he suppose to guide us? I'm an atheist and if I'm in the wrong of believing he doesn't exist why would he send me to hell? "Son, you did not believe in my existence even though every proof you seeked lead to nothing since there is actually no proof of my existence to begin with, yet, you are going to hell!" If you read the lyrics carefully, it says that we have hid and tried to grow without God. People who felt cast out by him that have turned their back on him as well. The song has a very dark meaning and very painful. It fits me all to well. Though, all songs are up to find meanings that even the writers did not think of :) Just think, it will open a new realm for you.

Imo, our society is corrupting because of the temptations of life, such as money and power and fame. God created us not to envy these things more than him, but to worship him.
