demi has a wider range. so when she sings "to tell you I'm sorry" and "it don't matter" she can easily hit these notes, where adele struggles to hit in some of her live performances. At the end Demi changes it a bit and goes even higher. But Adele's voice is more soulful and fits for this song.both are great singers.
