Funny, I'm not too nuts about the style of the mandolin, fiddle, and banjo playing, but I can't argue against the fact that it works. I'd sure like to get to go to one of Del's concerts.

The only real pickin' is from the country locals ... lovin spoonful doesn't hold a candle to this ...

why didn't he credit the original writer of this song instead of saying "we" put this out a couple of years ago? NO, you didn't.

Gotta say, this is an INCREDIBLE performance for being live. A ton of instrumental and vocal skill all perfectly mixed together.

It would have been nice had he mentioned that the song was written by John Sebastian of The Lovin' Spoonful.

You "don't know",,, but insist someone else is wrong? Sebastian wrote the song, Flatt and Scruggs turned it into a bluegrass standard and recorded it after Spoonful's version. It is attributed to Sebastian on their album.

You're joking right? It's obviously a bluegrass song and just because the Lovin' Spoonful did it doesn't mean that they wrote the song. In fact Scruggs and Flatt recorded the song earlier than the above mentioned band. Either Scruggs and/or Flatt might have even wrote it. Don't know.

"Nashville Cats" was of course composed by John Sebastian and made famous by the Lovin' Spoonfull in the 1960s....
