It's... alright.But waiting for another stellar collection of highly distinct, melodically individual and emotionally charged material from Deftones is probably a bit futile. Half of the material on Koi No Yokan left me unsatisfied, coming off of the magnificient Diamond Eyes, which was like a second jolt of energy in the band... and this just sounds like a pretty generic Deftones idea given a solid but still generic Deftones execution.I sincerely hope that they will find new ways to alter their sound while retaining the essentials (which is what they've pulled off on Diamond Eyes so beautidfully), but this song doesn't indicate that.
