Boy does this take me back like nothing else, to a much simpler time. A lot of things take me back, but the emotional impact this performance gives off really just always makes me stop for a second and reflect on those days when I was in middle school growing up listening to these and all the other bands who were big during that late 90s/early 2000s period. I remember specifically watching this special on MTV when it first aired, and I even have a soft spot for Little Nicky because of all the references to the bands who were big at that time. I just watched Korn play their first album in its entirety which really brought things full circle for me. It would be a real special treat if on the upcoming Deftones/Incubus tour they got together and did this.
