this album has slightly better production and more brutal vocals, but Psalms is still a great album with sick jazzy drums, brutal guitar, and psychotic bass. Just like Incantation's "Mortal throne of Nazarene" may have shit production next to "Diabolical Conquest" but both albums are sick. Same goes for Defeated Sanity's Psalms and Chapters. Breeding the Spawn by suffo has the best death metal ever made, but people like Effigy better because of the production, in reality both albums are sick.

I think Ill pass on the cd. Im perfectly fine with Chapters of repugnance. The guitar just has the sickest tone to it. AJ's vocals are just perfect and scary, I can actually hear the bass guitar and drumming is sick too.

yea itunes is terrible. Buy the cd and play it on a stereo. people miss out on quality sound because all they listen to is Mp3s and itunes. My friend downloaded fates Warning "night on Brocken" on itunes and it sounded plastic and processed. I listened to my cd version and it was much better.

The vocals on this one sound a hell of alot better, and you can actually hear the other instruments. The one before this, it was just all bass and lame vocals. Too bad AJ left the band though..
