@cheapseats12 Yup, it was nothing bad like he was a druggie or anything lol and he only forgot a verse and started over. though he was high enough that he forgot they even did the gig. A few years back on Rockline a girl called who was on the show had a question and Joe took the mic and said that he has absolutely no memory of doing it, blaming it on the mixture of medication he was on for his back and some wine he had and accidentally causing himself to be high I guess lol They joked about it.

Phil is an amazing guitarist. very few players can pull of live solos as tight as he does. every note and nuance is perfect.

@stevenzane They couldn't just bring Pete back. He was a raging drunk. That is why they threw him out in the first place. Mutt Lange is the one who is mostly responsible for the change of sound with DL.

i wish they didnt have so much of a riff going on between pete. i think the band wouldn't have lost their sound if they put pete in after steve clark passed on.

Mutt didn't help them on Adrenalize, that album was very successful. He also didn't help on the new album Songs From the Sparkle Lounge and it topped out at #5 on the Billboards Top 200 albums...not bad for a sucky live band.
