Deep Purple - Razzle Dazzle from the album Bananas from 2003.
Ian Gillan - Vocals
Roger Glover - Bass
Steve Morse - Guitar
Don Airey - Organ
Ian Paice - Drums
At first I thought the chorus was a bit weird, but when I got used to it, this song became one of my favourites of the album.
The lyrics tells about Ian Gillan being drunk, I guess.
"This could well be a true story; although conveniently I don't remember a thing"
Though I'm not fond of those silly pop songs about alcohol, I really love these lyrics 'cause he writes in such an advanced and sophisticated way.
I've marked a part of the text with red, because it's some of the best lyrics I've ever read! The way he plays with the words is amazing, and his phrasing is unbelieveable!
Especially the 'thinking' part is great!
Anyway, enjoy and please leave a comment, if you feel like it! ;)
