A great track and one of my faves by them. This is the alternate flip to Emmaretta that seems to only have gotten a release as 45 in Sweden (otherwise LP only). I love the sleeve - slight pink in the photo... Deep Pink? Pink Purple? Purple Pink?

in other words it was the best "deep purple cover band" imaginable....how many people on this entie planet can both sing like Gillan/71, AND cover blackmore's guitar leads? same three guys (jonathan/bob/someone on bass also) several times performed the "1969 bootleg short version of TOMMY) in the same wankhole LA clubs) to listeners who didn't appreciate what they were hearing (that being the same town that inflicted crap like Jane's Addiction on the world)13 years ago

a guy who played about six year's worth of our band's LA gigs (punk rock/angry samoans) several times did a raging club set of "all Deep Purple" (w/semi-famous drummer Bob Lee from Clawhammer covering all Ian Paice chops correctly) -- jonathan hall from 80''s/90's bands Porno Sponges, Kings of Oblivion (LA), Backbiter, etc etc. i can guarantee you that he (jonathan) KILLED it on both the blackmore leads/riffing, AND the ian gillan vocals. including the "shrieks".14 years ago
