My single favorite Deep Purple CD. Steve Morse brought it. So did the rest of the band. Great inspiration, could only make music this good.

Stupid people say it has to be either Deep Purple or Uriah Heep you can't love both. Wrong. I love both bands equally. They are very different, really. Uriah Heep were always more progressive and less heavy as Purple when Gillan came in, but I love Ian Gillan. Maybe Purple made it on a larger scale. A lot of bands tried to imitate them I think they are pretty hard to equal. Uriah Heep are easier to get away with being influenced by, but influence and imitation are different things. There are Beatles influenced bands and Beatles rip off bands for instance.
