My favorite track from one of my all time favorite albums. LA Song is one of THE great defining tracks about Los Angeles and never fails to remind me of a time long passed. Growing up in SoCal...losing your family, being cut off and adrift in a sun baked city with money, drugs, sex, and what seems like endless times to come. And then the party ends. I know the feeling. "Does your horizon burn? I have lived here my whole life. I don't need more stories of your broken mid-west boulevard dreams. Stars also lie down that street. You pretty little town. You, sad flower in the sand. You, pretty little town. Give me some of you. Give me some of you. Give me some of you. Venus and a silver moon. Give me some of you..."

This is simply killer! However cheesy what I'm gonna say now may seem, but: thanks for bringing me back to the days of my youth! :)

I literally listen to this album five or six times a week. It's amazing. LA Song's probably one of the greatest songs ever written and this video is fantastic.
