The genre they play, that they call Melodic Thrash Metal, can be described as ordinary Thrash Metal with the heaviness of Melodic Death Metal with no keyboards. The vocals are extreme, aggressive female vocals combined with growl techniques as well as thrash metal screams. The original combination of these effects gives a specific sound which has evoked significant international enthusiasm.

Decadence was founded in Stockholm, Sweden in the year of 2003. We are a bunch of hard working young people born 1983-1988:

No of course not, it's good to have different women. What would the world be if we were all the same? But I think "ripper1116" didn't mean that in an offensive way. We're all different, but y'know it's not everyday that you find a beautiful, talented and cool, redheaded gal like this artist. So it was meant more as a compliment towards her i believe, not an offense

I have to say I kind of prefer the world as it is now. More people to make fun of, and we have plenty of metalhead girls, you just have to look harder. In any other sense not all guys can be like Steffen Kummerer, so we're at the start again.
