I heard her on the "duet" she did with Jim Reeves in "Oh How I Miss You Tonight" and had to find out who belonged to that great voice. Now I'm a Deborah Allen fan!

I'd say almost certainly a soprano. Dolly Parton, Cyndi Lauper, and Minnie Riperton are, and it seems to me that Deborah is in a similar vocal range.
