@Hunkola Lets be realistic here, she is vocally better than Britney spears, but not vocally better than Aguilera or Simpson. That being said, I do feel Debbie is more talented overall than these three. And yeah, her dancing may not look that great, but that's mainly because the dance moves were from the 80's and because she doesn't have a ton of background dancers behind her.

I think it's pretty amazing how close she sounds to the official album in this live performance. Shows that they didn't need a lot of fancy effects to make her sound decent. Her voice was the real deal.

@Hunkola True, but not many female performers back then could dance very well. Madonna was the only one I can think of and back then she was doing "hip" dance moves like the Roger Rabbit (if anyone is old enough remember that one)

What's funny is that TOTP is notoriously known for having/making most of their performers llpsync. But it this case, Debbie was actually singing live, and it is the rest of the band that is playing over a prerecorded instrumental of the song.
