Nice early performance. I actually went to this club not too long after the name got changed to the Avalon. It pretty much sits across the street from the old Capitol Records building. It was originally built in the 20s, can you believe it? I never knew the historical significance of this venue till i Googled it. Acts like the Beatles, Rolling stones, Prince, and Madonna all performed here!

This particular vid must have been shot on a stop of what was called the Dream Tour 1987---just Deborah, two dancers, and a backing tape that Fred Zarr and company mixed for the purpose.

hey all... i'm pretty sure this was "Live at the Palace" in L.A. The other dancer quit the day before thye show & this dancer was our waiter at the hotel restaurant . I taught him the choreography in the hotel room before the show... Crazy !! thanks for posting... -Buddy
