oh and El debarge is a composer in his own right,amazing IMHO although for some reason he didnt wrote any in his debut album.His songwriting with the early Debarge and his later albums are awesome

with colabs its difficult to tell,there no doubt DF is a legend,I mean he plays all these classics live these days with ease...I saw him playing this one jsut teasing the audience in Asia...and the look of it was it was HIS..I bet the input was huge. One song i like Graydon debarge alot is "After you" similar production to this and the rest included in his debut album but its in his Gemini album.Actually has nothing to do with the rest of the songs,probably an outtake from the first solo album

you're welcome. Actually, some of my favourite pop/r'n'b songs from the 80's were composed by Graydon alone (or including a Graydon/Foster co-credit) while some of my LEAST favourites hits from the 80's / 90's were written by Foster alone. So I tend to think that Foster is the weak link of the team but I may be unfair :-)

don't know who made what, but it was also composed by Jay Graydon. The best Foster compositional credits often, if not always, include a Graydon co-write imho.

Beautiful sad song composed by the great David Foster. El Debarge did wonderful in this song such classic.But he never sings his solo songs...I wonder why

Yes Ive heard El Debarge had success in Brazil,I doubt he knows it though.All this love is a classic outthere.Here in Spain nobody knows about Debarge except Rhytm of the night.

I really enjoyed this video. I remember when this song came out in the early 80's...I was dating my boyfriend of whom I was in love with (ended up marrying him) I can recall gettn ready 4 my date....had the radio with me and then "this song would come on"....awwwwwwww what a song!
