I am a white old school punker. A true 1980's punker, that knows no color or race, but knows, the sound of pure raw punk. This band is 100% real true Punk Rock and the 1st out of Motown. I am so glad to listen to it and feel the pure raw sound of old school punk the way it should be played . Only true Punk Rockers can only understand what all this means to Punk Rock History. "Punk Rock is away of life, sound and expression".

This song is being used for a baseball commercial right now. In 2015.That's absurd. This song was never popular. The documentary has unearthed a treasure for the general public.

In the movie A Band Called Death, several of the interviews with the Hackney brothers mentions that people were disturbed by the aggressive noises come out of their home.Once upon a time, a group of girls invaded their home and literally started banging on the door trying to get them to stop playing. Dave thought it was hilarious so he continued playing and the other brothers followed suit. Off the cuff they started singing, “Keep on knocking, keep on knocking on the door,” and that’s how the concept of this song was initially formed.

dont get much more punk than a group of black dudes in the US.only being true citizens with rights 6 yrs after the civil rights movement. they diffently fit the bill for punk. no spiked hair...instead puffy afros.chuck berry would(or was) be proud! and im pretty sure somewhere in the scheme of things Lenny Kravitz ran across these guys
