I remember there was a point in time where I had just stopped listening to Death Cab (It was all about Beach House >w<)...then I listened to this song again and I was like "0_0 I really need to start listening to Death Cab For Cutie again".

Working on Revolution United right now. This song makes me say, Hey humanity! We got this. #BenGibbard

'like a child throwing stones at the sky and when they fall back to earth as minor chords of major works In separate rooms a single life we are one we are alive." My favorite part.

Yeah, since it's a simple chord progression it's probably a coincidence. I mean it's just three chords and they keys are right next to each other (or parallel), so people can use them as they're simple enough - C-Am-Em - too easy... I dunno but I bet that this chord progression had to be used way before 2005. I mean there are a trillion songs out there. :)

It's the chord progression of C - Am - Em...hence the similarity. A track in the game of The Movies called Closer has this progression too, and THAT CAME FIRST, in 2005 (before Cat Power's song). Type in 'The Movies soundtrack closer', you'll see it.

There are some songs that I wish never end and this is one of them. It's such an awesome, mellow song with a great rhythm.
